João Lamares
Born in Porto in September 1963, he is currently 61 years old. He has a master’s degree in High Performance Sports Training from the University of Porto and was a swimming coach in the 1990s.
He was responsible for the communication of three canoeing athletes in the run-up to the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.
He was a physical education teacher in primary and secondary schools until 2012.
He has worked as a photographer since 1998.
Today he is responsible for communications at the Aquilino Ribeiro School Group in Oeiras. He works as a photographer for Sekreta Magazine and with the Cascais-Estoril Parish Council.
Nicolas Marcial Negrão
Born in Brasília in 1985, he is now 39 years old.
He has a master’s degree in exercise and well-being from Universidade Lusófona, a postgraduate degree in Ergonomics from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and is a Retül certified bikefitter.
He worked as an ergonomist and fitter until 2019, when he moved to Portugal where he began working as a bicycle mechanic, initially at Lisbon Bike Rentals and currently at Bike Zone.
Passionate about cycling and a fan of challenges, his CV includes taking part in the Arapiraca International Challenge and the Desgarrados MTB race.
He is considered by the public to be one of the best mechanics in the Lisbon/Cascais area, revealing an insatiable need to improve his technical knowledge and provide the best services to customers.
His dream is to cycle through the Himalayas one day.
